Rachel Bilson Won’t Go Nude

Rachel Bilson almost didn’t appear in The Last Kiss because she won’t do nudity, the actress reveals in Playboy.
“Movies can be sexy or sexual without showing things,” the former O.C. star, 26, said in the issue out Friday. “It’s almost a deal breaker. The movie was rated R, and they like to put in nudity wherever they can, but I’m pretty strong willed and believe it can be avoided.”
Except for the “almost” in her quote, I think this is pretty cool. Glad to see an actress taking this stance. Grace and I watched a documentary recently that said the next step in American film is “non-simulated sex.” In other words, porn.
Apparently actors can’t “fake it” well enough. It will be interesting to see how mainstream this opinion gets. Hopefully we’ll have more Rachel Bilsons.
