Pastor this year the way you wish you’d pastored the last few.

How about expanding that a bit?

Parent this year the way you wish you’d parented the last few.

Love this year the way you wish you’d loved the last few.

Be a husband this year the way you wish you’d been a husband the last few.

Be a wife this year the way you wish you’d been a wife the last few.

Obey God this year the way you wish you’d obeyed Him the last few.

I could keep going, but I think you get the point.
